Epson has launched 2 full High Definition (HD) projectors to offer home cinema experience, the
EH-TW3000 and EH-TW4000.
These projectors offer projection at full HD resolution of 1080p, ideal for viewing movies, sporting events, digital photos or playing video games.
The EH-TW3000 offers a high dynamic contrast ratio of 20,000:1, while the EH-TW4000 offers the same at 75,000:1 with Epson DeepBlack technology.
These devices use technologies like Epson's 3LCD technology, new D7 C" Fine panels, and an improved E-TORL lamp that is meant to combine to minimize light leakage and enable sharp and precise projection, says Epson.
The company says that the projectors are easy to install. They feature optical x2.1 zoom capability and a horizontal and vertical lens adjustment function. Owners will be able to view movies on a cinema screen format of 2.35:1 with the projectors anamorphic wide screen mode.
Both can be connected to a wide range of sources with 2 x HDMI version 1.3 input, while the EH-TW4000 allows YUV and VGA inputs as well.
With a Hollywood Quality Video (HQV) processor, the EH-TW4000 features 12 bit video processing and 4-4 pull-down to control picture quality and motion flow. The frame interpolation feature is meant to control video playback.
Other key features of the EH-TW3000 include high light output (1,600 ANSI lumens) for day and night viewing, full 10 bit video processing (Pixelworks scaler), and an x.v. colour mode for vivid colour reproduction.The EH-TW4000, on the other hand, offers a high brightness of 2,000 ANSI Lumens.
Both projectors feature Low fan noise of 22dB and the package includes a cable cover for ceiling mount installation.
The Epson EH-TW3000 is available in white and silver for Rs. 1,27,100, while the Epson EH-TW4000 is available in black for Rs. 1,92,800.
