Samsung P3: is it really feasible?

Samsung India has just launched its newest multimedia player, the P3, in the Indian markets. This portable player has the EmoTure interface with haptic feedback and has a three inch WQVGA TFT-LCD wide touch screen. It also features a Hot Touch Key, located right below the touch screen, which allows you to access music features instantly rather than browser through multiple menus.

According to the company the P3 includes Samsung’s updated DNSe 3.0 sound enhancement technology. The player is 0.39 inches thin and has a screen that is 16:9 wide for the video player, audio player, photo album viewer and FM radio. Weird as it may sound, not to mention complex, the player also has a built in Bluetooth device that allows users to answer calls directly through it.

It’s available in matte black and matte silver metal casings in 8GB and 16GB at a whooping price of Rs.11,900 and Rs.14,000 respectively, that is if one really wants to indulge that far in a Samsung multimedia player considering the cost of an iPod comes close.
